Episode 1 features twins Leanne & Vanessa. Leanne needs Maggie’s help to find a Cheap Irish Home. Leanne works in a retail store onboard an Irish Ferries ship covering the daily Dublin to Holyhead route. She lives in a rented place in Co. Meath. She’s tired of not being able to afford anything in Dublin and knows she hasn’t a hope of ever living close by to her parents in Beaumont. Can Maggie and Kieran help her to realise her dream of her own home?
Leanne has asked Maggie to find her a property somewhere in the Sligo/Mayo region and Maggie takes her on a tour of 4 houses, some ready to move into and some needing a lot of renovations. All the properties offer amazing value for money. Maggie is assisted by Kieran McCarthy, a building engineer who advises on costs and possible renovations that can be made to the various properties.
