Julia Ashwood and her husband Matt Rabbidge were courting patrons of the Eltham Hotel before they became owners. They adored the historic village of Eltham, nestled in the hinterland and removed from the bustle of Byron Bay. When Julia suddenly became the proud new co-owner of The Eltham Hotel in 2019, she was faced with a daunting challenge: to bring new life to the five guest rooms situated above the much loved local watering hole built in 1902.
