The architecture of Metha Bunnak – affectionately known as Mr. Lek – appeals to both the mind and the heart. This was his core principle when he set about designing The Barai in Hua Hin. It was a project conceived to offer excitement, mystery, tranquillity and delight. Its harmonious mixture of natural elements and cosmic force, such as the sky, sunlight, moonlight, starlight, shadows, light reflection, colour and darkness, accentuates its architectural prominence. It even borrows a technique of tradition, taking on Thai Temple ventilation design to give maximum natural ventilation.
