Tucked away in the northern woods of Minnesota just off the coast of Lake Superior (about as close to Canada as you can get) sits a quaint A-frame cabin called The Minne Stuga. This cabin is more than a summer home or vacation rental, it was thoughtfully designed to help the owners and others disconnect, look up from their phones, and look out into nature. But, getting this 1950’s mail-order-chalet up to code and useable was no easy task.
