Phuket’s identity can be found in every square inch of Sala Phuket. It is a development that took inspiration from the island’s Sino-Portuguese history during the design phase, then adopted local materials, such as rubber wood, during its construction. Mr. Amata Luphaiboon and Twitee Vajrabhaya, leading architects with the Department of Agriculture, wanted guests to be greeted by a strong Southern Thai feel.
